This is Bandipur, Nepal, a mountain village that used to be an important stop along the trade route between India and Tibet. It is famous for its Newari people and their culture. My husband and some friends were able to visit the town and stroll through the streets. The colorful buildings and the merchants along the street made for a picturesque scene that I just had to paint. Hope you enjoy.
